MERANDA REIFSCHNEIDER
Meranda Reifschneider is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney, a distinction earned by less than 2% of Florida lawyers. Since 2011, she has dedicated her career to representing injured plaintiffs, recovering more than $47 million on their behalf. Board Certification, which she achieved in 2020, as well as her appointment to the American Board of Trial Advocates, reflect not only her skill in the courtroom but also her commitment to the highest standards of trial advocacy.
Meranda’s results speak for themselves. She secured a $20 million verdict for a pedestrian injured by a collapsing construction wall, an $8 million verdict for a motorcyclist struck by a car, a $4.7 million verdict for a shopper who slipped and fell as well as numerous other multimillion-dollar recoveries in cases involving falls, trucking crashes, workplace injuries, and wrongful death. Every client’s story is personal to her, and she fights tirelessly to ensure their voices are heard and their rights protected.
Her journey into law began at Florida International University College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2011. Even before graduating, Meranda volunteered at the Krome Detention Center and interned at the Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center, experiences that deepened her commitment to advocacy and justice. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2011 and to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 2013, giving her the ability to represent clients in both state and federal courts.
Outside the courtroom, Meranda is an animal lover who finds balance in nature. She spends as much time as possible outdoors, enjoying hiking, paddling, camping, and observing wildlife. She serves on the board of directors for MORAES of South Florida, an organization that works to protect marine wildlife like sea turtles and dolphins. This passion for the natural world mirrors her approach to the law: deliberate, patient, and fiercely protective of what matters most.
